New Patient Information
Before You Visit
At the time of your first visit, you will be asked to complete a health history form and a consent to treatment form. Your intake form may be completed in advance and submitted before your appointment if you prefer, and this can expedite your treatment.
At the Start of Your Visit
When you meet with the doctor you may be asked additional questions to allow him/her to determine the best treatment plan for you. This would be the best time to inform the doctor of any questions you may have or of any additional ailments.
What to Expect
During treatment, you will be asked to lie on a massage table and positioned in the best manner for the acupuncture points specific to your condition to be reached. Common positions are face down, on your back or side. If you are uncomfortable please inform the doctor, we would like to make you as comfortable as possible.
A first visit will last at least an hour; follow-up visits are closer to forty-five minutes, depending on the patient's individual treatment plan.
In most cases, you should leave the AC Clinic feeling both rejuvenated and relaxed!
